NEW YORK — Japanese tech company Fujitsu expects Donald Trump’s trade tariffs to hit its North American operations this year, as trade uncertainty causes clients to rein in spending on digital solutions.
Asif Poonja, chief executive of Fujitsu’s Americas business, told Nikkei Asia that the U.S. president’s trade policies will hit manufacturers, retailers and the public sector — his company’s primary clients — particularly hard. The volatile trade environment will likely affect Fujitsu’s double digit revenue growth target, he added.
