BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 29. By a joint
decision of the Georgian Dream team, despite the fact that our
powers have been approved, we are ceasing work in the Parliamentary
Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) from today, Head of the
Georgian delegation to PACE, member of the ruling Georgian Dream
party Tea Tsulukiani said, Trend reports.
To note, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe
(PACE) voted to recognize the powers of the Georgian delegation
with a reservation on suspension if the Georgian authorities do not
fulfill the conditions.
PACE demanded that “genuinely democratic election be announced
within the next few months” and that the recommendation to repeal
the law “On transparency of foreign influence” be considered.
