Estonia recorded a current account deficit of 228 million euros in the first quarter of 2025, equal to 2.4 percent of GDP, driven by a drop in the services surplus. External liabilities also exceeded assets by 4.7 billion euros at the end of the quarter, according to data from Eesti Pank.
