TOKYO — Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday vowed to join hands with Russia in standing up to “anti-globalization” and “power bullying in the international community,” as he met counterpart Vladimir Putin in Moscow.
“[We will] defend the rights and interests of China, Russia, and other developing countries, and work together to promote a multipolar world that is equal and orderly, as well as economic globalization that is inclusive and beneficial for all,” Xi said, according to a readout by Chinese state news agency Xinhua.
