BRUSSELS/KYIV, Ukraine — The draft of a G7 leaders’ statement to be issued on the third anniversary of the start of the Ukraine war on Monday, urges China to stop supporting Russia and takes aim at other countries for providing military backing to Moscow, according to a source.
The draft calls on Beijing “to cease its support for Russia’s war machine,” as well as criticizing both North Korea and Iran for giving “military assistance.”
