HONG KONG — Chinese regulators have extended a three-year antitrust “rectification period” for food delivery giant Meituan without giving a clear time frame for when it will end, people familiar with the matter told Nikkei Asia.
The move has left the market leader facing regulatory uncertainty even as competition in the sector is set to further intensify.
