MANILA — Japanese department store operator Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings’ mall and residential complex in Manila, its first full-fledged venture into property development, has fared well in its first two-plus years with a focus on Japanese brands and an accessible image.
The four-floor mall at Mitsukoshi BGC is adjoined by high-rise condominiums up to 54 stories tall, with one- to three-bedroom units ranging from 18 million pesos to over 108 million pesos ($310,000 to $1.9 million). By 2027, Isetan Mitsukoshi aims to complete four high-rises named after the seasons in Japanese, with amenities including gardens, pools and gyms.
