TAIPEI — Top European chipmaking equipment producer ASML on Wednesday said artificial intelligence remains a key driver of growth for its clients, though that expansion might be uneven from customer to customer.
According to ASML President and CEO Christophe Fouquet, AI is still the “clear driver” for the chip industry, but some of its clients may be “benefiting from it very strongly, others maybe a bit less.” The executive also flagged “some uncertainty” in AI demand and said that could affect its full-year revenue forecast.
