TOKYO/SEOUL — Han Duck-soo, South Korea’s acting president, was impeached by lawmakers on Friday, just two weeks after assuming the office.
This marked the second time in less than a month that South Korea’s president was impeached, after lawmakers voted against Yoon Suk Yeol over his abortive declaration of martial law.
