MANILA — Asia’s emerging economies will feel the material impact of the incoming U.S. President Donald Trump’s policies in 2026 and beyond, according to the projections by the Asian Development Bank.
In its flagship Asian Development Outlook report released Wednesday, the multilateral lender raised three key areas in Trump’s policies: trade, immigration, and fiscal policy, saying that the impact will be felt from 2026, after the changes took effect.
