TOKYO — Japanese cosmetics group Kose will buy the company behind high-end Thai beauty brand Panpuri as part of a deeper push into emerging markets.
Kose will spend 12 billion yen to 13 billion yen ($79 million to $85 million) to acquire a stake in Puri, in a deal announced Tuesday. The transaction is expected to be completed on Dec. 30.
