LIMA, Peru — Chinese President Xi Jinping told U.S. counterpart Joe Biden on Saturday that China was ready to work with Donald Trump for a smooth transition and improved relations.
While the leaders reflected on the relationship of the world’s two largest economies under Biden’s tenure, Xi emphasized China’s desire to maintain a “traditional friendship” and that decoupling was not the solution.
